I refer to this all the time in my line of work (HR, Training, Leader Development) and I am almost always met with blank looks. It's good (or bad) to see I'm not the only one. I think someone needs to do a Netflix documentary on it to get the word out.
I've been in a few orgs switching over to working "agile" - including the SAFe variety. I saw a lot of teams going through the motions based on the playbook but not being bought in or even understanding what they were doing so they would often just go through the motions. Especially with sizing. Glad to know I now have a name for all this. Thank you.
